I found my passion for teaching when I started at The Studio 114 as a Yoga, Dance Fit and Zumba instructor. I was lucky enough to cross paths with our owner Robin and soon after was given the opportunity to be part of the Deary’s Gymnastics family. I instantly fell in love with the sport and my tiny athletes right away.

Did you do gymnastics? When did you start? Where/Level/Accomplishments/ When you began coaching?

I started recreational gymnastics classes when I was 5 and joined the competitive team when I was 8 years old. I did gymnastics at a family owned club, a lot like Deary’s, in Massachusetts called Ellis School of Gymnastics. During my time as a USAG gymnast, I qualified for three Junior Olympic Championships. Once as a level 9 and twice as a level 10. I also started my coaching career while training at Ellis teaching boys and girls recreational classes as well as helping the younger team boys. After high school, I went on to Springfield College to continue competing as an NCAA athlete. Some achievements while at Springfield include: two time captain my junior and senior year, all conference on pommel horse, division II/III all american on pommel horse, and a two time qualifier for the division I national championships on pommel horse. After completing my gymnastics career in 2010, I continued my studies at Springfield College and was the assistant coach of the gymnastics program. Receiving the conference assistant coach of the year award and nominated for the assistant coach of the year across all NCAA programs. I found myself at Deary’s Gymnastics in 2014 taking over the boys team program. Since then, I have coached almost every class offered, but mostly stick to boy’s gymnastics.
